Has anybody out there tried the Track
Ranger GPS mapping system.

Yes. I have used it and found it to be quite good. I currently use oziexplorer and find it great too.
OziExplorer and Track
Ranger are comparable products giving moving map displays, plotting capability etc. I found Track
Ranger very easy to use and reliable.
I am currently using OziExplorer due to being able to use it on a PDA so that I do not have to have my laptop running all the time. I take the laptop for extended enquiry of maps etc but the PDA setup has no moving parts for the bumps in the road and Trackranger won't run on a PDA.
