plastic box for roof rack

I am looking for box to mount on my roof rack to store chain saw, oils and spare parts. All of the lockable plastic boxes I have seen so far are very expensive ($250 for small and $350 for large sizes). Does anyone know of a cheap source for these boxes?
I need to go up on the roof, as limited room and fume problems when carried inside Prado.

Thommo,does the box have to be plastic?. Have you considered the large lockable tool boxes for around $100 or even stronger are ex army surplus ammo and rifle boxes which happen to be dust and water tight.

Have you checked out 'Spacecase' made by Trimcast, Bayswater,Vic, Tel 03 9720 4476? These are stocked by ARB & 4WD Megastores. I have just ordered a case 1200Lx550Wx380H for $250.
