Hi guy's, just got home from a dads weekend away with the kids... A few of us decided to get away and give the girls a break, took a couple of guy's with kids who haven't been
camping before.
Thought I'd give it a little airtime and let everyone know it's a top little place for first time campers. Choice of
camping or room accomodation, caterers kitchen and toilet/shower facilities and a good size fire ring... $10 bucks(
camping) a night for adults and school age kids are free, this includes use of the kitchen and common room. All the dads had a great time and the kids had a ball, especially with the help of a peewee 50 which was brought along. The guy's there don't mind the use of bikes, common sense must prevail. I also took my trail bike and managed to get a few non riders to go for a play... They have several acres out the back which consists of
trails through a ti-tree
forrest.
So if you're looking for a very casual place not far from
Melbourne with facilities to make life a little easier(especially when the weather turns crap with kids), check THIS place out...
John, the guy looking after the place, even dropped a trailer load of wood in for us... You can't ask much more than that.
