Dougie, I also tried pricing these manufactured drawers for a pajero and the best price I could find was $1500. Ended up building a very basic rectangular frame and used assorted plastic crates and bins bought from bunnings.Although not as stylish the end result was very effective. In the Quokka paper (wrecking 4wd section) there is a company advertising drawers for $950 dollars approx.I am sure I have seen these drawers before and were built by a sheetmetal company, they seemed solid enough and well finished.

Make your own.

The commercial available units are outragously priced, and they are trying to make a weeks profit per sale...
Look at this BASIC SYSTEM made from ally box section for a GQ.

Could be a basis for your own unit.

Dougie, the web address truckster sent to you is basically the same as I built for the pajero,it was easy to make and more specialised for the pajero than any commercil system.I used 25mm light guage steel instead of aluminium, which has been welded.I would have liked to have known about the joiners.

yea its a good little system!

There are several people around now with it, and the plastic corner/joiners are holding up well, no breakages Ive heard of, which was my worry with them.

Anotehr option is to go to your local 4wd club and have a look at what people are using and pinch the best ideas there..

You may even find a few forsale in the club magazine...!
