Are you talking about FULL air bag
suspension to replace your coils? Or is it just the more-usual Polyair bags which fit inside the coils?
If it is the latter, then there are no "cons"......only "pros".
I've had my Polyairs in for about 150,000klm and had no worries at all. So long as you keep the required minimum psi of 5 in them at all times and don't exceed the maximum pressure of 30psi, you should have no worries.
If you're talking about the full airbag
suspension which does away with the coils, then I don't know anybody who has done this.

Hi Pizzle
I have a mate that changed his GQ to airbag
suspension, the first setup fail while up north and it took 3 weeks camped at
Cape Crawford to get the parts to repair the unit, failed again in
Darwin were they replaced it with coils and polyairs which worked fine.
Due to wanting full airbags so to be able take his slideon off easier had the unit rebuilt at Traralgon Vic. Needs an engineer cert, while polyairs or coilrite do not.
The advantage of air in coils is if the airbag fails you can still drive on using
the springs
Regards Ray
PS Polyairs on for 90000 with no problems
