Heya, just moved to the Sunshine coast, though after ther last week I thing it is incorrectly named.
Hoping to find out about a few of the clubs in the area. Am a younger fella, (mid twenties) and looking for a club of like minded people...i.e they like to get bogged, and attempting highly challenging tracks just for the sake of it.
Cheers All

G'day,
Not sure if your right up on the coast or not, but there are a few clubs half way between Brissy and the Sunny Coast I know of.
There is the Coobolture Off Road Club and an other MDORC that meet at the Kallangur Libuary (7 - 7.30pm 3rd Thursday of each month). The other place to check out would be ARB on the Sunny (stormy) Coast, last time I dropped in there they were very helpfull.
Good Luck
JB

I hope you are not one of those "attempting highly challenging tracks just for the sake of it", making a mess just because its there and giving all 4wdrivers a bad name....!

Did'nt see what your ride is..A great club to have fun with, while respedting the land,is Sunshine Coast Jeep Club..You will,no doubt find,as I did,you will have invited access to many areas, denied to so called "cowboys",when you are a member of a recoginised 4x4 club,no matter what brand you drive..Brands of rigs can be very much a
stonewall on the social scene if we let it get out of control,as,rather like horses,in the final analysis, there will be four hooves or tyres contacting terra-firma (most of the time) irr-respective of the propulsion, and even within dedicated breeds, there will be vast levels of variatioin in performance,be it as result of the driver/rider and/or machine/animal...The important thing is the inter-action with others and the fact,it can get us out of our self induced prisons (houses) Have fun..RockyOne!MPG:5!
