Gday folks,
Has anybody got a recipe for "hiker's cake"? I believe it contains dried fruit and nuts etc... My other half says that her dear departed mother used to make it, but she does not have the recipe. We dabble with a bit of bushwalking and suspect that it may be just the shot for a bit of tucker. Look forward to any assistance.
Regards
Chris

My missus makes a 'Good Cake'. It lasts for days. It is made with fruit but without eggs or nuts(I am allergic to them). Good tucker.

Hi Willem,
Thanks for your reply. Any cake is a good cake to me. Guess I have a sweet tooth (or should that be sweet teeth). I would be obliged if you could post the recipe ......

Chris
