We have been having a fair bit of rain here in NE Vic recently and was wondering about road conditions Tibooburra, Camerons Corner, Innamincka as we are trying to travel through that area this coming week.

Thanks in advance
Mike

Mike,
I was out there last week and the roads were good. There were a few minor washouts and the usual corrogations but nothing of concern. Its the usual story, take your time and you won't get any of those sudden surprises that tests your packing techniques.
Cheers

We have had a little rain in the last week. Nothing to get excited about but enough to settle the dust.

What seems to happen up here is that the roads get closed when rain is reported in the area. The roads are then reopened as they are inspected usually they are closed for a day or less. Occasionally heavy rain will close them for longer periods.

The simple way to check is to ring the Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre on 1800 630 008. They have the latest info from the councils and RTA. That will cover you as far as Camerons. The Ranger station or the pub at Innamincka can probably help you with the rest. Sorry I don't have either number.
