Heading up the high country nov 10 Lake william,buckland spur,onto Wonnagatta then back home zeka ,butchers country and Grimme tracks etc has anyone got any news on the river heights Wonnagatta ,crooked river etc was going to make day trip from wonnagatta to
talbotville and past
Eaglevale depending on river flow and height .Have done this trip 2 years ago rivers were all up to top of bonnot on raised petrol but could not cross wonnagatta at the crooked river meeting point so missed out on
talbotville ..

Well it was a pathetic snow season this yr, so I would guess there would have been very little run off, and rivers would be low.
Doing same trip this weekend... I'll let ya know on Wednesday

Check river heights at Bureau of Meteorology.
Parks Vic web site:
"Wonnangatta - Grimme Track and Blue Plain Spur Track
Temporary Track Closure
07/05/05 to 27/10/05
These tracks will be closed between Bull Plain Road and Macalister River Track for public safety and allow consolidation of recent track repair works. Motorists are advised to seek alternative
routes during this period."
Would pay to check with rangers that they are now open.
