Dealer has phoned to say that my new GXL TD is ready tomorrow.
Woohoooooooooooooooo ;-)
Hard waiting with a spare spot on the driveway and no fourby to throw the
camping gear into.
Never have a big time gap between the old and the new. :-(

Steve
Thank you.
Now to guard it against she who flattens the sides of vehicles on the shopping centre pillars. I just about cry when I walk past her Falcon.

Thank you. The new update has airconditioning in the back which the teens like and improved seats which I like.
I'm not sure the 17"
wheels are an advance - until more tyres are produced anyhow (as applied with the 16")

Congratulations ev700, on your new purchase...must be the right time to buy a new 4x4 as I pick up my new RA LX Crew Cab TD Rodeo on Friday. This will be my first 4x4 and I can't wait to get out and enjoy the adventures that the folk on this
forum talk about.
Cheers, John

Hi and thanks.
This will be a big weekend for both of us then.
Enjoy the new Rodeo, they're very flexible machines.

Hi Geoff
Thanks for the good wishes.
With three tall teens there was no other way out. Anyhow that was the story the wife bought. Lot of truth in it too.
Can't wait to get out into the scrub this weekend.
It will be with regret that I notice the first few scratches but is why it was bought.

Goof or you Ev 700... I know th efeeling, I just picked p my new 05 GU 4.2 TD.. Love that feeling and smell. . in fact it's off getting the rust proofing and window tinitng today.. can't wait to get it dirty, although I dread that first ding? Goota admit there is something about an old hack to take bush that a new car just can't beat.. but after coming from a 2.8 DX Patrol.. What a dream..
Enjoy that New Car feeling

Just a little bit of a thread steal---the first ding I got in my PRADO was on the FRONT bumper bar when I hit the Birdbath!!!!
I was backing the caravan into a rather tight spot.
Subsequently the birdbath has been moved!
