water with an algea smell.I have flushed many times and added
Tank Fresh compounds and added cup of bleach and filled and flushed after two weeks---
water still taints .I always filter
water when filling.
Can anyone help??

I have heard of the same problem being solved by fitting new hoses to and from the
water tank. The
tank may be ok but the hoses have broken down!!!!!
This did work for a friend on a camper trailer
water tank.

Also do you drain
water when returning from
camping? And is the van parked in the sun, more importantly any of the
water componants? Had a clear
water filler hose do the same thing because it sat in the sun - replaced it with black and all was OK.
Kind regards

How do you fill it ?
My guess would be the gold ole Garden Hose.
Thats not a good start.
Give the Tanks a REALLY good flush out with BiCarb or Baby Bottle Cleaner. For REALLY bad , I've been told a diluted mix of Clorine (pool cleaner) works wonders.
Check all your hoses and change to food grade ones , and then , fill tanks using another food grade hose.
Shouldn't thereafter have a problem.
