Hi All,
Just returned form K I on Mon 31st after a great week exploring the island.
Sealed roads are: Hog Bay Road (
Penneshaw to
Kingscote), 20kms of Willoughby Road to
Cape Willoughby,
American River road, Playford Highway (central road), South Coast Road, Seal Bay road, West End Road.
Corners are very sharp, so go speeds for corners.
All other roads are dirt and the corrugation was not to bad. On K I they do not cut the corrugations and pot holes out they only back fill them and they become rough very quickly.
Worst corrugated roads are: Western end of Playford Highway going to
Cape Borda light house and the eastern end of the Willoughby Road to
Cape Willoughby.
Accommadation is everywhere and can recommend the Neapon Bay caravan
park at Brownlow 3kms from
Kingscote.
Have a great time! Regards P&J.
