What do we think of the 2001 Triton

Does anyone have some useful opinions about the 2001 manual diesel 4X4 triton. eg problems, nuances, engine life. All useful info is greatly appreciated

I have the '03 but it's a V6 so i'm not really the best guy to talk to... I do have a link for you though... Have a look, ask your question HERE , Should be of some help... I believe they share the same components globally.

I had a 98 manual petrol. The only relevant issue that may be applicable to yours is the Aircon
water discarge pipe is directly over the clutch slave cyclinder. The constant dripping of cold
water on a hot cylinder means the
water is sucked in and you get corrosion in the cyluinder.
Just rotate the discharge pipe 45degrees and i used a cable ties to clamp it in place.
