i have a kk and i am mounting a solar panel in the centre of the gull wing box and was going to use a small set of the over centre catches that are on the gas bottles (smaller if possible) on either end of the gull wing box as i don't want it to be a time consuming job to remove and also need it to paddlocked. The question is does anyone know where abouts u can purchase these in South Australia. If anyone has any other ideas to mount the panel i am quite happy to listen.

Thankyou MATTIE

UES at 16 Tikalara St, Regency Park
Phone 83401599
www.uesint.com

These guys have a great range of over centre latches, at pretty reasonable prices.

Cheers

looks like they have the catches i am looking for, just have to find one small enough as the catch will have a 1 inch surface to attach each piece of the catch to.

How much width have you got for a solar panel before it fouls the gullwing doors? What size solar panel can you fit there?

Try these two sites for possible over centre catches.

Mattie,

You can search at www.whitworths.com.au.

The latch here may be OK.

Also, the caravan shops like Darios and Cararest sell them.

Do you have Whitworths Marinein Adelaide?
Or you can order on line. Bought the very same clips for my camper a few months ago. They carry three sizes....

Cheers..........
