on a recent trip from the olgas, I asked a question about ULP being available across the
Great Central Road to
Laverton in WA. I received several differant replies saying that there was no fuel available to limited fuel.
Well I found out that Opal Unleaded Petrol is readily available at All Roadhouses, photos of the cages around the bousers are not permitted. We had our own 20lt of ULP with us but only used it because of the very high cost. Other than that we had no problems
Cheers P & K

Mate works for one of WA's major fuel haulage firms he says Opal is just unleaded with the colouring and smell removed.

I read with interest this article from theage.com.au - in particular the comment regarding opal fuel - that "It also damages car engines"
600ml bottle of petrol costs $50, for sniffing
