Hi all, the wife and I will be travelling to
Broome for christmas to stay with the inlaws and was wondering if anyone knew of any accomadation where we can have the dog with us in or near
Newman. We would normally go through to Hedland and stay with friends but as the wife will be 6 months pregnant think it might be a slow trip. We are basically just after a bed to sleep in for the night and somewhere the dog can stay.

there are a million nice spots to
camp out near
Newman, even within 20 k's, find any track off to the side and roll the swag out, especially north of
Newman. Ive done it quite a few times, just get off the road a bit. Dont know if there is a dog friendly
park, but usually the council ones (which are often the crappiest ) are the only ones. Its a bummer big time, I am a dog lover also, (they are laying at my feet now!) but it is getting harder all the time. If the dog is happy to sleep in the car, there probably wont be a problem, but ring the
Newman visitor center. (why dont they call them tourist bureau's anymore??)

Yep, one of the parks in
Newman lets dogs stay as
well.
Now I don't remember the name of it, but it is not the one behind the
BP servo.

In my view if the ladies can go through birth they can do anything..haha but the heat in
Newman at xmas is normally 40 + and can be a constant 45 day after day. Dec and Jan are the hotests times of the year.
6 Months prego and I think there will a lot of "P" bay stops..hehe
Ph numbers below, give them a call to see if dogs are allowed.

Cheers, we are originally from Hedland so we know what the temps are like, hence the reason we are not
camping. Thanks for the phone numbers I'll give them a call and see how we go.

There are good boarding kennels in
Karratha if you are going through there.
