IS A 60 SERIES 2H DIESEL FITTED WITH A AFTER MARKET TURBO AND 2 1/2 INCH EXHAUST MORE POTENT THAN THE FACTORY 12 HT IN PULLING POWER. I REALISE THEY ARE DIFFERENT ENGINES, BUT I BELIEVE THE FACTORY ONES ARE DOWN ON BOOST AND ONLY RUN A SMALL EXHAUST SYSTEM.

Chris, Never driven a 60 series 12HT, but reckon a/market turbo w/- big exhaust would have to go better. Just a bigger exhaust makes a noticeable diff to 12HT. Friend had 2 work utes, 2H & 1HZ, both turbo'd, and his choice to drive was the older one. Think he said it felt like it pulled better. The 2H is a truck motor, whereas the 1HZ has been designed to be more responsive, with use of rotary pump.

If you've got the room to fit it, put on a 3" exhaust. With more boost the A/M job will get hotter, more fat, more fire. See ya...
