With reface to the use of a turbo using roller bearings,
Turbine shafts usually run through white metal bearings witch are centred by engine oil pressure.
My question is how did the manufactures get around the heat transfer problem(meaning heat from the exhaust turbine transferring along the shaft into the roller bearing) witch would have to be contacting the shaft.

Good morning warthog,
How dose that get away from the high temperatures generated while the turbo is in a boost position?
Thanks
