Can you get these in australia ?
Do they work as stand alone or do you need to load via oziexplore .
Does the moving map need to be activated for the plug in computer gps (Holux) to navigate and can track be saved

Hello
Destinator - Yes can be used in Australia - for use on Pocket PCs, Destinator PN ships with map data covering all states and territories of Australia. You can choose to install all of Australia (106Mb), or you can cut the map into states or even create your own custom maps with the easy to use map cutter
Exploroz
Shop - Destinator
Destinator Website
Both Destinator and Copilot (trvelroute) stand alone programs ...as is OziExplorer(which is not an auto route "talking" program but a GPS Mapping Program)
No idea if they keep record of your track. I would check suitability of maps for your intended purpose..no doubt good in city but maybe a bit sad in out of town areas.
Cheers

Hi Bev,
Co-Pilot does have a feature to log all tracks. It is part of the confuration of the software. It auomatically saves each file by date. It records about every 3 seconds, and unlimited file size.
To view saved track which has been done with co-pilot, you need to convert the file from .gps (generated by co-pilot) to .plt file. This is done using oziexplorer extra software named oziconvet.
It works really
well.
An example of how
well it works is I got a speeding ticket recently via a speed camera. I checked the speed stated on the speeding ticket against the gps log, and unfortunately, I was speeding, and at the speed nominated on the ticket.
Thanks
TonyG
