I saw a Ute the other day which had a rear sliding window fitted. I like that idea but can't find them anywhere. I'm sure somebody in here knows the answer :-)
Thank you
cheers

I helped a mate fit one to an XF ute a few years ago... Not cheap though, from memory about $350 way back when... Don't remember who made them, think it was a place in Kilsyth.

Try a Marine window place like www.mmw.com.au. OK they are in
Perth but these blokes can do anything .Surely there is someone in Qld that could do similar concidering the number of boat builders up there.

Reiner,
When I was in the autoglass industry, there were 2 companies I knew of that produced them for the HQ to
WB. One was Qualicraft at Arncliffe and the other was Kingsley Industries near Bankstown Airport.
I'm sure Qualicraft are defunct, but Kingsley might still be around. Regardless, if you have to get a one-off it will be pricey as they would have to pull out the old the old jigs for the frames, and do a one-off run of toughened glass (unless you specify laminated).
Good luck in any instance.
P.S. the Kingsley was the better looking and higher quality model.

Thanks everybody, one of the options should do the trick...... after a few calls I think its a custom job which wont be a bargain...... but
well worth doing.

yeah like the one before i got
mine at blueysuteworld.
or maybe you could get your car tinted at the
bendigo ford dealer and they will smash your existing rear window while fitting tint and they will put in a sliding one for free if you get peed off enough and they only offer a crap magna as a substitute for nearly 2 weeks.
my gripe but now i have a sliding window worth $350 .
lol
