I have just come back from a few days on the
Murray River around
Echuca. While in the
Visitor Information Centre I came across a new (published July 2005) handy booklet called "
Murray River Access". This booklet is A4 size, about 20 pages, only $5 and covers the
Murray River between Barmah and Torrumbarry Weir. It shows all the access tracks to the river,
Camping area's, Fireplaces, Reserve's,
State Forest's, caravan
park's, motel's,
boat ramp's, winery's etc, etc, I thought it was quite a good guide for anyone touring the area. There is also one out that covers the Cobram area, and there is one in production that covers Yarrawonga to Lake Hume. Just thought it may be of interest to people touring or
camping in the area.
Regards
Neil
