In a nut shell and IMO

Escape= Soft roader, Light beach work and if game some very light 4Wding

Territory=Soft Roader, Light beach work and if game some very light 4Wding

Courier=Real 4*4, not bad Apparently

Explorer, 02 and on=Real 4*4, But poor ground clearance, IFS and IRS suspension set up (No articulation), With 4 more inches of ground clearance would go alright but all aftermarket suspension attempts have been put in the too hard basket. Light beach work and if game some very light 4Wding

F250=real 4*4, will pull anything, Long wheel base so getting hung up is a problem, But I think you would be surprised where 640Nm of toque and some right boot will get you. (Big lift kit’s are available)

Our F250s have surprised us where they will go. So long as you don't mind scratches down both sides when on the widest of tracks.

The only time we have needed to recover one was when it sank in the mud. We used a crane truck to get it out :-) We bogged the crane truck too.

Cheers. OLDMAGPIE

Utemad.
I suppose when you bog a F250 the list of potential recovery vehicles becomes short.

Like, Ok who has a 15000Lb winch that need’s a work out, or did anyone happen to brig a crane along today LOL.

F250 hard to get stuck.
Once stuck, even harder to get unstuck.

Sunk the front end of mates F250 in a bog and could not reverse out. Hitched a body truck to assist - no budge - too much weight in the front end.

Cat D8 called in still no movement.

Just kidding the D8 did get it out. (easily in fact)
