What sort of offroading are you planning?
Rockhopping, touring, firetrails, desert travelling?
How many people?

With some good tyres, and maybe a small (50mm) lift would do that admorably, only prob may be getting some weight over the back
wheels, but its a small prob only

I used to have a D22 Navara, but the disel model. I was very happy with it apart from the space in the back for my 2 kids. I fitted Old Man Emu
suspension which made a huge difference to the ride off road. The diesel had great low range gearing, not sure how the petrol goes in this aspect. The drive train is almost unbreakable, that price seems reasonable if it's in good nick. if it's beemn used by a tradie check for wear and tear/rusting etc.
