I have had a considerable number of minor problems with my Jayco Eagle over the last year - poor finish etc
One of the most annoying though has been front locker. Sealant all around it was leaking out and was difficult to open all the way - was warped
It transpired that gas lifters were too strong and had been incorrectly fitted by Jayco. Had to have a complete new boot and lifters fitted - luckily still under warranty.
There are may other models like
mine who are encountering same problem according to my repairer - if you have a problem I would take in and get replaced
Still disappointed that a brand new model has had so many problems that seem related to lack of quality control

Lovely isn't it .... Australia's biggest, much awarded and financially successful "RV" manufacturer. How come ? They must just blast them through on a production line and let the customer do the quality control, post sale !

We've just returned from a 4 month trip up the north of W.A. as such,we got talking to folks about thier vans and the almost without exception those that owned new Jaycos were moaning about all sorts of problems. From the big flash new Jayco
Heritage down to the humble Jayco campers it was the same issue, poor quality control and poor service.
Since we've got back to
Perth we've been in the market for an offroad van. We've now traded the old van in on a new Supreme Getaway Offroader. The guy tried to interest me in a Jayco camper - until I started laughing. No thanks!
