Ok, Hit me with some ideas.

Am thinking of doing a weeks run up to Kosciuszko National Park at the end of the month. Having had my fill of Deserts and Top End tracks for awhile I would like some feed back on things to look at up that way and any interesting tracks to take, also any nice Camp Sites (not Van parks). We are pulling a Camper but can leave that at camp sites etc.

GPS points can be a help if you have them.

I promise I will think of anyone that gives me some info whilst we are away, may even have a scotch in your honor.

We may have a 4.2 Nissan with us Roachie, so it better not be to hard a track :-)

Look up Geehi on your map, back of the mountains, a magical place to go. Also, take your fishing rod and try and catch some trout. Sparky

Don't know a lot about the park, but on your way there or back, take the "Barry Way"(?, think that's right) goes from vic up to NSW basically following the Snowy River. Great drive (gravel, 2wd), lots of good scenery, OK for trailers, couple of good camp sites on the river right at the border. Head north from around Bairnsdale from memory.(sure some Vic's will fill you in). Comes out at Jindabyne.

Cheers...........

For camping spots: In the south, Tom Groggin
Swampy Plains
Thredbo Diggings.

In the north, Blue Waterholes
Tantangra Dam.

You can use these areas as a base and do day trips, Tom Groggin is great for a trip up to Davies High Plains.
