G'day all,
I am currently working on a project car, its a Niva, just to give everyone a good laugh - lets just ignore logic and call it a passion. Anyway I am looking for a good Workshop in WA capable of doing some of the more major modifications, engine and tranmission conversion, front solid axel swap (which I gather from other posts is actually possible) etc. However I am really struggling to find one, anyone got someone they can recommend.
Thanks.

You could try ringing the IAME (Institute Of Automotive Mechanical Engineers)
Ph 0894781642 . Web www.iame.com.au or The MTA (The Motors Traders Of W.A) ph 0893453466 .Web www.mtawa.com.au they should be able to point you in the right direction.

It would be interesting to see how the Lada turns out. We used to have one and we loved it. I always thought that they were a vehicle that was "almost there" and with a bit of tweaking could be made into something that would worry the competition.

Thanks for the input guys, I will look into it. I know there must be someone in WA who does this sort of work, just hard tracking them down.
