Yup, all agreed. It is also important to remember the people that are currently serving - particularly on active duty OS to continue to preserve the freedom and way of life that we are fortunate enough to enjoy.

It's pretty sobering when you take a minute to really think about it hey?

To all past and present service folk and their families - a big thankyou.

Brian, completely off the subject, but I had a look at your pics, and the Wathumba Mishap??? OMG !!! Who in there right mind would even think about trying to cross there at low tide? I have seen a hilux come to a very siliar end trying to crossthe creek at Moon Point, although, we managed to help them get it so that at least the top of the roof was above the high tide mark, but seriously, that is one place you dont want to try and cross. I've seen many pics at the Rainbow Beach pub of oh so many rigs wrecked at the rocks, but that one really takes the cake...

Yes, I was lucky enough to hear the last post at 11am in the staff lunchroom at work on my own. Mentioned to another younger staff member, afterwards, that it was armistace day. She was 22yo and had no idea what I was talking about so I told her. Didnt seem to care too much. Sadly. I will be taking my 11yo daughter to the Dawn service this year. I dont want any of my kids to have no idea about these things... lest we forget
