I have the chance to buy a set of tyres for my 100 ser steel rims wich are still in the box`they are called maxxis creapy crawlys and are 37/12/50/16, they have nobs on the side walls and are BRAND NEW! tha only problem is I have never heard of them before and was hoping someone could shed some light on this brand so if you can help me make an educated decision it would be great , Because I have just fitted Bfs all terainns to the alloys for road and soft 4WDing and need a set for the steelies , I dont even know what these are worth per tyre but Im offered these for $325.00 each?? (WOTDOIDO!?)

well i hope you have at leats 4" lift if you want to run 37's they are a ok mud terrain a dirrect copy of the BAHA claws , they dont self clean as good as the simex range but do ok / Another thing to be carefull of , is that the maxxis tyre in sizes 35 and over and very weak in the side wall and the car will wander all over the road over 80 k hr. they are cheap yes , BUt .

Also your gearing will be up s h i t creek , speedo will be out by around 15 k hr also

If you want to go simmex cp , they will drive staight , but are almost imposible to balance , driving over 60 kms hr cna cause the wheel to shake 4 " either way when not balanced on the vehicle by a truck place . Try the BFG muds in 35 , they are a much better tyre to drive on the road with and will bet you out of most sticky situations .

Gday JB
If you have the suspension travel height, and want a good offroad tyre, then they are ok.
All large tyres are hard to balance properly, a trick ive seen done is balancing by sticking patches to the inside of the tyre....makes them driveable on road....
If you dont want them, then get them for me :-)) please???
