You can expect around 18L per 100km while towing

I have a 2001, 3400, auto and tow a 14ft Jayco Freedom pop-top and average a little over 6km per litre which is around 16.5 L/100km. My highway speed is around 90-95kph depending on terrain. As you are towing a trailer with less wind resistance and probably less weight you may do a little better.

Or you could consider a nice economical Turbo Diesel. TD engines are typically more economicl than the same vehicle with a petrol engine.

This also means greater operating distance between locations.

Anyway, mine is now for sale
