Hi Folks,

I have now got a garmin MKT45 mounting bracket for the garmin GPS 12 and want to know from people with the same where and how they have mounted then in their Nissan Patrols.

I do not realy want to drill holes in the dash etc. Your comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks P&J

I have Garmin GPS 72 and got marine mount from Whitworths and used double sided tape and mounted it on RHS top of dash near pillar
No holes were drilled in dash
Works fine and good vision for the driver
I have a GU

Good luck

Have a Garmin E Map mounted in the top centre of the dash of a 2003 GU. Mounted with double sided tape, no holes. Cut a hole through the dash mat to fit. Have had the car over some pretty corrugated roads and even though the GPS vibrates a bit it has never come off. Just bought cheap double sided tape squares from the Warehouse, seems to be better than some of the other cheap stores. Have a couple of stuck on clips to feed the cables through attached to the side of the dash also.
Easy done.

Hi PandJ,

I have a Garmin V and have it mounted on the steering column with velcro. It works very well and have not had an issue on rough tracks with the mounting.

!MPG:6!

Cheers

I have a Garmin GPS - Mounted to the top of the dash with selastic. When I sell the GU Patrol I will just have to rub the selastic off and you won't be able to tell it was there.
Life's great and it just keeps getting better

Hi,

Thanks to all above, great of you all to reply. I will have to give it some thought as to how I mount it.

Thank you all. P&J
