Hi,
If it is the 2h motor the pressure sender is on the driver's side toward the back of the block on the oil cooler.
The manual I downloaded suggests a faulty relief valve. Maybe a silly question, is it the right oil??? not some 85w140....
Idle pressure at the sender should be 4.3 psi or more, at 3000 rpm it should be 36-85 psi.
The same I think for the 12h-t.
I got my computer guy to download the manual for me off outerlimits4x4, he has higher speed.

Too high oil pressure can be a problem with the 2H motor, it is caused by a sticking pressure relief valve this is located in the timing cover at the front of the motor low down. Get it checked out soon as it can damage the oil filter and cause a big leak. If you are getting more than full scale on the guage when the oil is hot you have a prob,
Regards Ken.

Don't overlook the possible effects of sludge. Most pre-combustion engines dirty the oil very fast and allow sludge to build up. 2H's are prime examples. Depending on where it ends up, sludge can cause low or high oil pressure. If the oil is dirty enough to stain your hands, no matter how few kms, it's had it; drop it out. There's no way it can keep the engine clean.

It can also cause power loss due to piston ring fouling, oil consumption, smoke and even overheating. Hope these comments help.
