Hi all,
Just put one of this under the bonnet of the 80 series. Just wondering what the general distance it will pump
water from is. Going to head to Bunnings and get some tubing to use to transfer
water from my
water container, just want to know how much is feasible.
cheers,
Scotty

The Little Ripper will pump up from a drum about 6m or 20' away from the vehicle. I use garden hose.

I bought a 4m length of clear braided food grade
water hose from Bunnings for
mine (same hose used to hook up dish-washers etc...)- it lets me see whats happening if there's a problem. 4-5m is good - as if your
water source is a small distance away - theres no problem. The hose also doubled as a filler hose for my
water bladder.

The distance that you have to lift the
water from the source will be the killer, around 1.5-2 metres I would say will be about the limit, horizontal distance is not so important.
