Having spent the last weekend exploring the Pyrenees led by Glenn and family but with Mr and Mrs Al and kids, the Diamond family, and on Saturday Willem and Judith, and Crazie I have seen a lot more of the beauty of the Pyrenees in Western Victoria.

A great weekend thanks Glenn we did a winery tour on Sunday morning and early afternoon and the trip to get back threatened any intact bottles in Moses. So much is the interest you can do a multifactorial visit - the 4bying and the wineries to sample mmmmm, the fruity juices.

Tracks that made Moses cock a wheel or two according to onlookers. I look forward to the photos and movies of the visit. Tracks that were named by a young daughter after Mothers' exclamations - the "F*** F*** Track" because of the lurches of the 4by from rock to rock as we decended the steeper pinches. It made a challenge for any self respecting passengers to hold their place, had it not been the seat belt. Another track Heather called the "Ooh S*** Track" from her exclaimations.

On the way home Heather and I had a cuppa with a friend in Ararat who had driven a lot of the tracks in a F100 years ago in good conditions but with a 44 gallon drum strapped to the tail gate for some ballast. Heard about fire crews that needed to leave their tanks 1/3 full to maintain traction. It all made sense.

Thanks for a great weekend and the beautiful Pyernees for the scenery and ideal weather too. Little rain and a great surroundings at Glenpatrick reserve. Flushing loos too, made all people more comfortable - no redbacks there. Some of the tracks were from really easy, to others (n)(r)early confronting, depending on choices of direction. Thanks once again Glenn, I learned a lot.

spot on Diamond, though I am not so sure of the bourbon and young VB, I am not a cradle snatcher. You saw the boxes that Moses carried up and down hills on Sunday afternoon ;-)

Was fun all around, and yes he did a great lot of homework to make sure we could all enjoy it. Goodonya Glenn.
