I am looking at buying a 92 Litre Kookaburra ice box and I was wondering if anyone had one and how they rated them. They seem to be reasonably
well priced. Cheers Macka

Have the evecool 90L dont know if made by same company but cant fault
mine. Holds block ice up to 7/10 days no problems and can fit a sh@t load into compared to the 40L engal. Trick is to freeze your block ice ( icecream containers) in a deep freezer 1 week prior to going will last you a lot longer than party ice 1/2 days. And to help a bit more try and keep out of sun. Can't say Ive heard of the Kookaburra eskys before. If you get the evekool (blue) or the tropical (
orange) you wont go wrong. There is a fibroglass one but do crack easily especially if getting thrown in and out of a 4wd. Take Care Vitara

Hi there guys,
First of all i work in a camping
shop so that everyone knows and we sell all the brands.
Last week when we were bored we grabbed a "Downunder (fibreglass)" "Tropical" "Kookaburra" "Coleman 6 day Extreme" and a "Thermos". All around 60L (give or take a couple). We dropped a 2kg bag of party ice into each of them and then left them for a couple of days.
2 Days later the "Thermos" "Tropical" "Kookaburra" had nothing but water in them while the "Downunder (fibreglass)" and the "Coleman" both had a a chunk of ice left in them about the size of 4 fists.
Obviously this is a very rough
test. If they were filled with more block ice and full of food they would all hold the ice alot longer.
Also if they were in the sun at all the fibreglass would have the advantage of reflecting the heat alot better than the plastic.
These are just my thoughts.
Cheers, ToNy!
