I am looking to trade in my rodeo and buy a auto rexton diesel.
Would like to know how they go? and what the economy is like both towing and no towing?

i like these cars, the dealer told me they get 6.5L per 100, he also recons they will do 1.5M km. The have the merc engine with chain not belt, no tuning ever required. I like the sound of that.

i dont know, but take one out for a drive, fill it right to the top of the tank, do over 100km, then fill up again and see if it is uning in the vicinity of 6.5 - 7.5L. the guy at ssangyong seemed happy to be flexible like that.

I'll watch this one with a bit of interest... 2 guy's here at work were going to lease these and were advised by multiple sources not to touch them... Allegedly the transmissions are problematic... I wont state it catagorically though as I didn't get the info first hand and can't comment on the credibility of those dispensing it.

bushyvirgin.
Both previous posts are valid, the motor is Benz and good, the gear box is borg warner made in Albury Aus. so they are like a holden /falcon box most are good some are not, but there is a good waranty and spares for the box should be cheap. Eric.

Saying it is a Benz motor is a bit misleading it is only a benz desighn made under license in a factory far from the strict QC Germans aere renowned for. As for the autos If they are a Borg Warner I hope they are a more reliable unit than the old 35s put in fords and Valiants
