Just thought I mention the good service from the Administration of VKS.

Emailed in my application last Sunday night, All arrived back today.
Nice to receive such prompt and efficient service in this day and age.
Well done VKS.

Now all I got to do is finish the radio installation.

Cheers

John,

I agree. Having allowed 2 weeks for VKS to process my application, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the kit back from them 4 days after posting..........And even better, you get the service you sign up for.

Cheers,

John,
Especially as they are a sort of "life & death" type of organisation, eh? It is nice to know they have a mindset of getting the job done promptly (cos your life could be dependant upon it!!).

Where are you planning on putting your aerial (auto-tune or multi-tap?)? I've heard that the Mexican cops are likely to get upset if auto-tune is on bullbar.

Cheers mate

Hi Bill
On the Kaymar rear wheel carrier, so should be no issue except I mounted the Poron in the Centre rear and the Autotune will be displayed nicely now on the left side of the screen. LOL.

I'm heading for Perth in mid December, in a bit of a hurry heading west, but will be stopping at Peterborough on the way over for one night to share some chocolate with you know who, more time avaliable on the return so maybe able to swing past your end of town in January on the way home and say hello.

Will keep in touch.

Cheers

Isnt it amazing that low cost volunteer type orginisations can provide such terrific service.
The billionaire multi national company's could learn a thing or two.

Dean my understanding is that the VKS Administration is paid.

Thats where a sizable chunk of the fees paid actually go.
I have no problem with that, as long as they provide the service that we pay for.
In this case I feel they did a good job, prompt and efficient in my view.
Emailed to them Sunday night, in my snail mail box on the Thursday morning.
My guess is they turned the application around in two business days and Aus Post did its thing in a day and a bit.

Cheers

Hey Davoe
Are you suggesting that Aussie Post does not know where Widgiemooltha is? LOL.

I'll be coming through your neck of the woods (Desert/Outback) next month, give us a call on the HF if your not working and maybe we can catch up.

Cheers
