I have just purchased a new Uniden UH-090 cb radio. Its dual band so i was wondering if i mount the two antennas beside themselves, say 6 inches apart. Will they interfere with eachother, like will it make the signal weaker in either am or fm?
Thanks
Dan

Telstat told me this was the problem I had with mine - they were too close.
Mine are now 1 each side of bullbar. Remove when not offroad.

Dan,

You need at least a minium of 1m between the antennas for them to work efficiently. So as Truckster has done mount them on either side of the bull bar.

Hi Dan
Mount them as far apart as you can on the bullbar. About 1 metre apart should be fine.

The UHF needs about a 6db gain to give a good general signal
