We are cuirous to know if anyone has travelled to Red Islet within the
Fitzgerald River National Park? Red islet is located west of Quion Head.
If anyone can tell us how to get to Red Islet we would be very grateful.
Regards,
Steve.

Hi Steve,
Easy! By boat.
Seriously, if approaching it from land, most of the tracks shown in the area are closed off and only accessable by foot from the old telegraph track. This includes the hut at twin bays.
Quoin Head is the most westerly track accessable by vehicle coming in from the East, and from the west, from the mouth of the Fitzgerald River, you can drive about 6km along
the beach eastwards just past Dempster Inlet (with care). There is a walk track from there which takes you east thru Twin Bays, but I haven't been beyond there.
Magic country.
