I have recently restored one onr the murumaba star caravans and recently bought another that has been modified as a slide on I originally bought the second van to replace the windows in
mine like the one in the photo I put larger wheels on and added gards similar the the "jurgens explorer" we have towed it over Morton Island and in other 4x4 situations I also put a slide out kitchen in the front in the panel that looks like a mirror of the window

Very interested in some photos of your 'Murumba Star' projects .
This style of van is 'unique' - and a great example of the early tech. tricks of the 1970's .
If you can post some photos - It would be much appreciated !
