Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a sat phone next year for a 6mth trip. Alternatively if there is anyone that wants to offset their plan costs etc and lend me their phone from June to Nov let me know.

I seem to recall that a decidedly strange member of this forum has advertised the availability of a Sat Phone for this type of situation.

Still deciding what to do. Do I hire one from you guys or just bite the bullet and buy one. Depends if I can get the subsidy I guess. First person I rang said would be easy next person said maybe not as I'm not working or living in one of the specified areas, simply traveling in those areas maynot count. Best way I guess is to try. Will be 5-6mths in the Kimblery and Pilbra region
