No doubt locals to the area will be able to let you know just what it is like, but on my old map book, it shows as a sealed road.

Make sure you plan for a couple of days in Burra. The caravan park is a beaut little park and the town is just dripping with history.

Pay the $14 for the key at the info centre and do the self guided tour of town letting yourself in and out of attractions at your leisure. It was a fantastic couple of days.

The road is sealed and mostly straight, which makes it all the more staggering that someone managed to roll their caravan on it the day we travelled!

Travel safely,

Dave
