80 series auto noise

Hi all, my 93 80 series auto has a slight noise in 1,2 and reverse at idle. It goes away when I touch the accererator slightly????????? Its reves are about 500/600 rpm when in gear. When in drive, it does not do it!!!!! Any ideas?????? Deano
