Fitted
Driving lights to my new Hilux last weekend, spliced into the headlight wiring just behind the headlight, connected the relay wiring there. Mounted the relay on my duel battery tray.
I didnt need to go near the high beam switch itself !!

did you mount an isolating switch in the cab?
Where did you get your dual battery tray and what was the biggest aux batt you could fit?

Hi Scott.
Sorry missed your post - reply.
Did you get your system sorted out, I had problems with my IPF D/Lights - Negative earth had me stumped for a while :-)
Battery tray I use is ARB, it takes a big battery (size i cant quote) I fitted a small 46T deep cycle battery from my previous Hilux System, I'll wait till that battery dies or I get sick of it before I lash out for a larger one.
Hope all is going
well with your Lux, so far I'm REAL happy with
mine.
That TD has got some balls :-)))

Hi scottp,
the biggest deep cycle battery i could fit under bonnet was a 105ah.
It sits in a TJM stainless steel tray.
