Hi steve,
Don't remember what the figures are of a standard 4.2 turbo but
mine at the rear
wheels is 88-89kw and my uncle (who has had the same work done on his) has 95kw. I'm sure you will find each dyno will give varying figures for the same vehicle.
Remember I have the 3" exhaust plus turbo mods so if you have 79kw now I would think you will be suprised at the figure after the modifications.
Best of luck Trevor.

Steve,
I just remembered this morning, my uncle's bog standard 4.2 turbo went from 66kw to 95kw once the exhaust and turbo was modified at MTQ.
I suggest if you already have 79kw then you must have your car running very sweetly already and may have a real weapon when you have had the work done.
Hope this helps.Trevor.

You could put it on 10 dyno's and get 10 different results,as long as you end up with more than when you started and it runs better on the same dyno is what counts.

Gob, I started with 72 kW at the rear
wheels, after exhaust, dump pipe, MTQ modded turbo and tuned at MTQ in
Toowoomba, 120 kW, to say very happy, an understatement. Still need to dyno after fitting i/cooler. Hope this helps?

Holy cr@p John how old is yours and what K's. You have just made me extremely jealous, I am happy with the work the guys up at
Toowoomba done on
mine but as I said above I only got 88.8kw from their stage 2 powerup. I have just recently added the safari intercooler up to this setup as
well, I can't say I've noticed a huge difference yet but have yet to put the big trailer on the back and go for a run.
Would like any info you can give on how they got so much out of yours and so little (in comparison) out of
mine
Cheers Trevor.
