Hi ALL,

I have just bought a Waeco CF80 and have wired up as per directions. However, the dula batteries in the Turbo is in Parrallel and as such I beleive both batteries can be drawn. Has anyone set up a third battery fro toher accessories such as fridge or is there some other way to ensure no flat starting batteries.
Cheers

The third battery goes in just behind the main fuse and relay box on the LHS. It means you have to move the fuel filter and some other stuff. If you email me back, I can send up a picture.

The other way - which is what I have done is to separate the batteries. I used the Redarc Smart Start to separate them and have not had any starting issues to date. It has a switch that you can flick to use both to start anyway. Is a cheaper solution to the battery problem as I believe that one decent starting battery is fine. I have two exide extremes - one for cracking and the other is for accessories like fridge and camper. I could send you pics too!!
