Hi all, after a trip through the
Gawler Ranges I've got the Disco tidied up again except for the red dust attached to the greasy and hard to get at door jambs. Does anyone have any "non messy" methods to clean these? Have thought about a paintbrush and degreaser but don't want to flick this onto plastic fascias or fabric.
Thanks

Not too sure about the grease but Nappy San applied with a paint brush will remove that red dust (even the red stained silicone around windows etc. will come clean again)

I use salt assault mixed in a 1 liter spray bottle and paint brush or niffty works
well allso, for all the hard to clean bits.Being
water based it is abit more user friendly on your interior if you get every where.

On a sunny day go to a car wash and use high pressure spray. Spray degreaser on before spraying. This works a treat on all doors and crevices.

I use a high pressure spray too, with CT18 sprayed on the dusty greasy bits. Surprisingly, if you aim the high pressure jet right, the backspray doesn't end up inside the vehicle even with the doors or tailgate wide open. Cleans them up like new.

Disco123,
I use a environmentally friendly degreaser called Simple Green in one of those 99 cent spray containers, the splash is much more controllable, paint brush would also do but after a while the stuff your dipping your brush into is as contaminated as what you are trying to cleaning. My opinions and experiences and no commercial attachment to the product.
