Hi all,
I recently posted a request on how to delete a portion of a saved
track/.plt, I got lots of help thanks.
I now find that on some occasions whilst deleting, a straight line
appears from the point of deletion to an apparently random spot along
the track and no matter what I do I can't delete it.
Does anyone know how to clear this line permanently?
Thanks in advance.
cheers

Have you visted the Oziexplorer
forum?
For GPS and Ozi related questions, thay have a
forum; a database which includes FAQs etc.
Well worth a look.

I've seen the same thing and not been able to rectify it. There is nothing in the track file that makes it do this, but the track is fine next time you open it.
It appears to be a bug in some versions of Ozi. I haven't seen the effect for quite a while. So, I believe the bug has been found and corrected. Have you upgraded to the latest version lately?
If not, download the upgrade from OziExplorer and the problem should go away.

Thanks Pluto
Like you I have found it it disappears but not on every occassion. I have now determined that when deleting the unwanted potrtion of a plt the line seems to go to the start or finish of one of the 'Appedages' if you know what I mean.
I will follow up on the upgrade.
cheers
