HI all, just got home in the new toy, got a deal i couldnt refuse on a july2003 jackaroo se widetrack v6 manual, with arb front bar, warn winch with plasma rope, airtec snorkel, cargo barrier, tow bar, bfg at's, etc etc.... 40,000k on the clock and runs like a charm.

Its even white, same as my older jack, but i dont think it will be enough to stop the better half noticing LOL So Im in trouble andhave to sell my little "Jilly", check out the trader ad if you are interested, it even comes with an EO sticker installed LOL.
Can flex on the price (of course) and can even supply at tyres if required instead.

Cheers all, Brad (man with 2 jacks :-) )

Go Bradley!
Definitely know that feeling. Got a similar deal with my Rodeo with all the extra's etc.
Still want more though as you do but still good to get all that expensive stuff included.
Good luck selling Jilly. With the proceeds you just have to convince the better half that it needs air lockers and this n that etc. hehe

I've just done exactly the same thing. I saw a 2003 Jack with the same accessories you've listed Bradley (an ex police vehicle from Mildura) but it was priced beyond my limit. Ended up purchaing a 2001 widetrack Jack to which I'll add snorkel and cargo barrier for next year's Cape York trip. But first I'll have to sell the 98 Jack I've owned for 5 trouble free years. Enjoy!
Rob.

Funny that too. Mine (Rodeo) was ex NSW enforcers of da law that somehow found it's way over to SA.
Cop friend here says that Fleet Services really look after them in NSW. Service and repair by the book etc.
We should get a good run.

Plasma rope eh? Flaaaaash! Wouldn't mind having the forces budget for my rig lol. Mine just got bleep ty old wire rope but OHS&W rep from the force around here tells me that they (police vehicles) will all have plasma ropes eventually for safety reasons.
But mine did come with the controller though haha!

Yeah, anyone that sells Warn would sell the controllers Bradley. Best spot to buy? Wouldn't have a clue but I'd shop around heaps.
BTW did they leave the dual batteries in?

Yeah the plasma is for ohs reasons, and the jack has great bash plates underneath :-))

Dual batts, never had em, there were 2 units i saw, neither had a dual batt system. Bugger...

Mine didn't have the duals either. Everything just runs off the one big arse N70 but all that's going to change soon when the "boom box" (amps) and fridge come along.
Came also with ARB l/r tank, and the previous owner had the tubbed lined with Rhino spray on rubber, LPG installed, Canopy with bars, Cabin roof bars, chromies with new shoes, HR tow bar, spotties, Alpine stereo and 6 stacker.

Since I've had it I've added a centre roof console, GME UHF, lambswool seat covers (missus loves em), map lights, home made a rear step/bumper, reverse spotties, reverse sensors, flexiflares, and just got a tough dog 2" susp. lift kit to install as the front of the l/r tank hangs about 2" below the chassis so I need to make some bash plates as well. Already banged the tank up up on the SA/VIC border track but got a newie through ins. I'm getting the poor mans Calmini upper control arms for the front (upper ball joint flip).

On the list to do is make a drawer system for the tub, Start Smart dual batt system, fridge, and a myriad of other enhancing bits and pieces.
Then it's off to the wild frontier for a while.
