IF THEY ARE THE ONES I'M THINKING OF WHERE THE WHOLE THING IS ON A SPRING AFFAIR AND THEY FOLD UP INTO A FLAT CIRCLE.. BEWARE. THEY LOOK GREAT UNTIL YOU WANT TO GO HOME. WE WATCHED A COUPLE DOWN AT MINNIE WATERS START TO PULL THEIRS DOWN ( IT WAS USED AS A LARGE SUN SHELTER ON THE BEACH). IT STARTED OUT ALL FRIENDLY BUT ENDED UP, SHE TELLING HIM TO GET F. AND DRIVING OFF LEAVING HIM ON THE BEACH WITH ALL THE GEAR AND THIS MONSTER THAT WOULD'NT GO BACK IN THE BAG. HE ENDED UP WALKING OFF AND LEAVING IT ON THE BEACH. VERY FUNNY FROM WHERE I SAT BUT AFTER SEEING THE DRAMA I DIDN'T EVEN GO AND USE SALVAGE RIGHTS.

I have heard this same nightmare story before, not driving off and leaving him though!!! LMAO

All depends on user of the item, and if there is 10 people running the show to fold it up!

Thats seriously funny!

Honestly, how many thing actually DO go back in their bag!!

G'day Diamond,

They usually cost somewhere between $80-100 - depending on brand and where you get them.

Most good camping shops will have them.

They can sometimes be a challenge getting down, but if attacked with a bit of finesse [definitely not after half a slab of the good stuff] they usually go down easily enough.

I have a "Wild Country" model and am quite happy with it.

Point to watch. Be careful dismantiling. If you bend the fibreglass supports the wrong way and kink them - they stay kinked and you are up for a new one.

I don't have any probs with mine as I simply just fold it flat and stack it on top of my offroad camper trailer under the tarp. Sits there really well.

regards

Dennis

You're right Old Soldier, they are a great idea but dont try to fold them up if you have been on the singing syrup.
Most blokes can't even get their pj's on after a few so the pop-out shower is near impossible.

Get the shop to show you how to fold it and it's dead simple...

All you really do is fold in half and it just goes as it should.

I was lucky? enough to get one for christmas and decided (after quiet a few bubbly singing syrups) to open it up in the crowded lounge room around the Christmas tree. SPROOOOOOING!!! Knocked three people over, wine on the carpet etc..What a laugh. Quickly came up with the rule: Whoever wants to use it, has to put it away. P.S. They are not too difficult after a bit of practice. Read a good idea recently - much cheaper - use a kids hoola hoop - and a nylon shower curtain with rings - simple but effective!
