Hi all,
After some info if i can, 1994 2.5 TD mitsubishi triton, Not getting any glow plugs on cold start.
Remove the plug from the Coolant temp sensor and the glow plugs work.
I am guessing the Temp sensor is buggered but i am unsure what resistance i am ment to get across it.
Any Help would be appreciated...
Chris

Eric, have you pulled one of these out? and if you have how did you do it! They are in such a spot that you can't get a socket over the sensor or a ring spanner/open ender in there??
And where did you get those Numbers from: 3k @ 20 deg c. I am chasing a workshop manual and am having zero luck getting any books on the triton...

Chris.
I have a factory workshop manual. I have not had any problems at all so have not tried to remove a sender, the temp gauge and the glow plugs use seperate sensors, Eric.

G'day Eric,
The Temp Sender i have been testing is the one at ther front of the head on the top. This sensor drives the guage as grounding it out drives the temp gauge hard to the "hot" Position.
That being the case, if you don't mind me asking, where is the "Glow Plugs
Water Temp" sensor located??
Also where did you get your Factory Manual from??
Thank's
Chris.
